Le liberty de mon amie Julia | My friend Julia's liberty

Mon amie, Julia et moi avons acheté ce coupon ensemble à la source même (ou presque) chez Liberty, un grand magasin à Londres. Le magasin d'époque est encore là au milieu de la très commercante Regent Street avec une façade en teck et en chêne provenant des deux dernières goélettes de la Royal Navy.

Comme de nombreux couturiers amateurs, j'aime ce tissu pour son esprit suranné, la douceur et la qualité du toucher. Je crois que le liberty est un classique qui se porte facilement (au prix près) peu importe s'il est revenu à la mode depuis quelques années. Alors voici une écharpe et un top qui j'espère vont durer longtemps.

My friend Julia and I bought this coupon together at ils very own source (almost) Liberty department store in London. The original store is still there in the middle of Regent Street with a frontage teak and oak from the last two schooners of the Royal Navy.

Like many amateur designers, I love this fabric for its outdated spirit, softness and quality of touch. I believe that liberty is an easy to wear classic (excl. prices) no matter if it is fashionable again over last years. So here's a scarf and a top that I hope will last a long time.

Et pour équilibrer les fleurs romantiques, j'ai fait une jupe de mathématicienne en 6 panneaux qui rendent hommage au théorème de Pythagore ( c'est pas vrai, sinon j'aurai écris la formule en motif répétitif ;-)

And to balance the romantic flowers, sew a skirt for mathematician in 6 panels, a tribute to the Pythagorean theorem (I am kidding, otherwise I will have written the formula by repeating pattern;-)
