Samedi matin, je reçois un email avec un tableau résumé de résultats qui me paraissent faux. Je le relis - mmmm... ils sont probablement pas justes, je devrais investiguer ce serait mieux et consciencieux. A cette simple pensée, je ressens un mal de tête. Et là je me dis que c'est samedi, que j'ai déjà travaillé 13 heures par jour la semaine précédente, celle d'avant et celle d'encore avant et que je vais faire un choix pour une semaine suivante productive passant par la faveur d'un week-end très productif : réaliser une deuxième robe 24 heures, commencée ce samedi matin et portée dans le train lundi matin pour Londres.

Saturday morning, I got an email with a summary table where numbers seem wrong. I re-read - mmmm ... they are probably not accurate at all. I found myself thinking that I should have look, investigate, that would be better and conscientious. Just thinking about it brought me an headache, so I decided that it's Saturday, I worked 13 hours a day the week before, same the week before the last one and again three weeks ago... so I will make a productive choice in favour of productive following week which passes through a very productive this weekend: I took again the challenge of a second 24 hours dress: eg starting on Saturday morning and wearing it Monday morning in the train to London.

Alors c'est toujours la même recette : 1) un patron éprouvé - c'est la base, si le patron n'est pas comme attendu, découdre et recoudre prend beaucoup plus de temps 2) des détails maison, mais au minimum : des poches passepoilées et une bande centrale et 3) un tissu différenciant : velours blanc cassé fleuri, comme une cotonnade d'été.

Et voilà après découpe, montage, doublure, finitions et puis s'en va!

Same rules have to be followed: 1) a proven pattern - this is the basic, if there are lines to be corrected on a sewn dress it takes ages to unpick ( about 4 times of what it takes to sew) 2) distinctive home signed and most effective details: the welt pockets and a central strip and 3) a differentiating fabric: an off-white velvet with bleu flowers that reminds a summer cotton.

 And after cutting, assembling, lining, finisheing and here am I done and leaving!

Mes excuses à mes lecteurs décus qui ont pu imaginer que j'avais trouvé la recette de la robe qui remplace le travail des tableaux excel. Et mes excuses aussi à mes collègues qui comme moi se doutaient que ces chiffres étaient faux et qui ont du attendre lundi matin pour un premier éclairage et qui m'ont accompagné et/ou supporté les 65 heures de la semaine d'après pour les ajuster au mieux.

And my apologies also to my colleagues who like me suspected that these figures were wrong and had to wait Monday morning for a first explanation and who accompanied and / or supported me the next 65 hours of the week to adjust them to the best.

Allez, au moins pour commencer cette semaine là je portais une nouvelle robe fleurie. Un petit tour de pivot (tableau croisé dynamique) et le tour est joué. En plus il n'y a pas 65 heures dans un week-end, c'était un bon choix de production!

Come on, at least to begin that week I was wearing a new dress with floral patterns. A small pivot table and voila. And there cannot be 65 working hours in a week-end, so still feel that was a good call.
